Christiane is an Economist and Partner at AEC.
Christiane obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration with a Major in Economics from the University of New Brunswick, Saint John, and a Master of Arts in Economics from Simon Fraser University.
Christiane started working as an Economist for AEC in 2000, lending her expertise to valuing economic losses in personal injury and wrongful death claims, including loss of employment income, loss of non-wage benefits, loss of economic support, and loss of household services. She also authors reports on the present values of costs of future care and the cost of fund management. More recently, Christiane has furthermore been asked to assist in the valuation of incomes in marital disputes.
Christiane has prepared reports in more than 2,500 legal cases. She has been qualified as an Expert Witness in the Supreme Court of British Columbia since 2009 and has testified on over 40 occasions.
Christiane is a member of the Association of Professional Economists of British Columbia and the Canadian Association of Business Economists.
She was President of the Surrey German Language School Society from 2011 to 2015 and Director from 2011 to 2017. When not working, Christiane enjoys spending time with her family, pursuing various outdoor activities, and reading.
Christiane is fluent in German.
